| PLEASE READ In the business of being a breeder you will find many people that don't like breeders, or even other breeders talking badly about other breeders. Please when trying to find a good breeder DO NOT listen to hear say, go by your own findings. It is always best to deal with someone that does not slander others. Also when choosing a Breeder Please beware of those that are refereed to as "Backyard Breeders", or even that cute little puppy in the window at the local pet store, they usually come from Puppy Mills. It is easy for anyone to have a website, even puppy mills have websites, so please check them out and ask for references. | I am a Dachshund Breeder, This is a name I take very seriously. We love our dogs as they are part of the family, and they will go to their new home with you happy, healthy and well socialized. We are not a puppy mill and our dogs are not left in crates or pens all day or days at a time, they have full run of their yard together. Yes it is true anyone can say this but if you come to meet us, you will find that to be true. We have many references available upon request, feel free to ask. Our dachshunds are our babies and are treated as such. I will not knowingly sell to pet stores, brokers, or puppy millers. I take great pride in my research on breeding, delivering and just about everything you could possibly want to know about dachshunds. I come from a Dachshund loving family from way back and this has driven me to become a breeder that has a true love for the breed. I am here not only for my puppies but for the families that buy them as well. I'm not in it for the money, but to help other dachshund lovers meet a new addition to their hearts and family. We currently have a variety of colors and patterns in our adults such as: Reds, American Creams, Wildboar, Solid Black, Solid Chocolate, Black n Tans, Chocolate n Tans, Dilutes, Brindles, Dapples, Piebalds, Dapple Piebalds and Brindle Piebalds. As you see on the adult pages we have 4 female dapples and 3 female dapple piebald and we also have 1 male dapple, we will never breed our dapple male to our dapple girls as we do not breed Dapple to Dapple due to the health risks involved. We specialize in Smooth and Longhairs, sorry we do not breed the Wirehairs. All of our adults are minis and tweenies. Minis are 11lbs and under, Tweenies are 11lbs- 16lbs, and Standards are 16lbs and over, as the AKC standards states. We feed all our dogs Iams and Eukanuba dog foods. All of our Adults are kept up to date on their annual shots and dewormed regularly. We also DNA all of our males and we genetically test any we feel necessary. | PLEASE DO NOT visit Pet Stores, other kennels, or breeding homes prior to visiting ours! We want to keep our puppies and our adult dogs healthy and free from disease. Many diseases can be carried on clothing, shoes, etc... We strive to protect our dogs from possible contamination which you may be totally unaware of after you have handled puppies elsewhere. We do encourage visits but please follow our policy as stated. |

| We register with CKC (Continental Kennel Club) and AKC (American Kennel Club). Most of our dogs are Dual registered. CKC papers are included with your puppy at no extra charge. Most litters are eligible for dual registration. Dual registration is an extra $200 for the AKC papers (when available) with Full breeding rights. We do not do limited registration, please don't ask, it is $200 Full or nothing. If you want dual registration the decision must be made by the time you pick up your puppy and payment for dual registration must be paid at that time. If you choose not to get AKC papers you will NOT have the option later. This is optional. We do reserve the right to refuse Full registration to anyone we do not feel fit. If for some reason you buy a puppy from us and life happens to where you are unable to care for the puppy or dog, You MUST first contact us to return it back to us, here at Crystal's Dachshund Crossing, this can be days, months, or years after purchase. I am committed to my puppies for life, as any good breeder should be. Unfortunately a return will have no monetary kickback. In addition, the puppy or dog, can NOT be resold without first contacting me, I have first rights of refusal to take the puppy back or I can also allow you to sell it. ***This also applies to any dachshund that needs to be surrendered, please bring them to us weather they are spayed or neutered, or from us or not, we will find a good home for them. We do have people that are looking for an older dog as just a companion. We will find a good home for all dogs. |
